DESCRIPTION:Every year\, this is Canada’s premiere pipe event! (Frankly\, I think I’m losing count. This may even be our 9th year…) People come from near (Michael Parks) and far (everyone else\, really) to congregate for a day of coffee\, food\, smoking\, er… more smoking… talking\, and copious smoking. Did we mention smoking? Oh\, right; we did.\n\n\n \n\n\nThis year we’ll be serving up slow-smoked pulled pork and slaw.\n\n\n \n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n \n\n\n10am – Event Kick Off! Coffee will be ready; swap & sell set-up (basically\, if you have something to sell/trade — or donate to the raffle — bring it along)\n\n\n1pm – Lunch Served\n\n\n4pm – Event Close\n\n\n \n\n\nAs you can see there ain’t much in the way of programming again this year. Come prepared to relax and enjoy yourself.\n\n\n \n\n\nRides\n\n\n \n\n\nIf you are able to offer a ride\, please respond back with the general area(s) that you can pick people up from and space you have.\n\n\n \n\n\nIf you need a ride\, please respond back with where you are located.\n\n\n \n\n\nIf we can’t hook you up with a direct ride then we will arrange to pick you up from the Oshawa Go Train station at 9:30am.\n\n\n \n\n\nTickets / Raffle\n\n\n \n\n\nThis event is free to all! DESCRIPTION:We will be meeting in the middle of Trinity-Bellwoods Park – a very large\, very busy\, and well-lit urban park – it will be so full of people that we don’t stand out in the slightest. The arrow in the picture points to the general location that we will be setting up our (metaphorical) tent: Once you find the giant crayons sticking in the ground you know you are in the right area; just look for the pipe smokers. (More specifically – the ones smoking pipe tobacco.) If we’re very lucky we may even be able to grab a nearby picnic table. \nYou are strongly encouraged to bring a lawn chair or two. (This is what I will be doing.) I will bring some snacks\, but you are asked to provide your own refreshments. On that note: TB park has been renowned for its tolerance of casual imbibing in the park.

However\, in the last year there were general complaints so the police have shown an increased presence so please be discrete depending on your choice of beverage.
