SUMMARY:7th Annual BBQ at Michael Parks Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, this is the premiere pipe event of the summer! Join us for a day of coffee\, food\, smoking\, er… more smoking… talking\, and copious smoking. \nSchedule \n\n10am – Event Kick Off! Coffee will be served; swap & sell set-up (basically\, if you have something to sell/trade\, bring it along)\n1pm – Lunch Served. (Yum!)\n2pm – Raffle. (Yay!)\n4pm – Event Close. (Go home!)\n\nAs you can see there ain’t much in the way of programming this year. Come prepared to relax and enjoy yourself. And smoke! (Make sure you smoke.) \nRides \nIf you are able to offer a ride\, please respond back with the general area(s) that you can pick people up from and space you have. \nIf you need a ride\, please respond back with where you are located. \nIf we can’t hook you up with a direct ride then we will arrange to pick you up from the Oshawa Go Train station at 9:30am. \nTickets \nThere are no tickets required or cost this year thanks to the generosity of our attendees and sponsors from our last BBQ. DESCRIPTION:Once again we are congregating at the workshop of reknowned Canadian pipemaker Michael Parks for our annual BBQ. This event is jointly hosted by the DTPC and Lakeshore Smokestacks clubs\, but people from far-and-wide are welcome (nay\, encourgaged) to join us! \n\nSchedule \n\n10am – Event kick off! Coffee will be served; Swap & Sell; Best Canadian Collection\, Carver and Shape Contest begins\n11:50am – Opening Remarks\, Thank Yous and Kick-off of Workshop\nNoon – Pipe Making Presentation with Michael Parks\, Giovanni Placentile and Evan Wiseman\n1pm – Catered Lunch\n2pm – Best Canadian Contest Close and Prizes Awarded\, Raffle Results Awarded\n3pm – Slow Smoke Competition\n4pm – Event Close\n\nPlease see our event page details for more information! \n(Note that none of these activities are mandatory.
